Kafelnikov NOT voted into International Tennis Hall of Fame

Despite a career high ranking of number one in the world, winning two Grand Slam Titles, the French Open in 1996 and the Australian Open in 1999, four Grand Slam doubles titles, and the Gold Medal for men's singles play at the Sydney Olympic Games, Yevgeny Aleksandrovich Kafelnikov was not voted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.

His singles record was 609 - 306 (66.56%) with 26 titles to his credit. In addition, he won 358 - 213 (62.7%) in doubles and took home 27 titles.

A player needs 75% of the votes to be elected.
